Christina and Jonathan
Jonathan proposed to me on the rooftop of the John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts which overlooks the city of Washington, DC. It just so happened that the largest performing arts center south of the Kennedy Center was in my hometown of Tampa, FL, which is where we chose to get married. The venue was not only meaningful, but regal in every way from the ruby red carpets and high ceilings to the complimenting gold and silver accents. To match the grandeur of the venue, we chose to go with more classic and sophisticated touches, using wine as our common theme and accent color throughout the wedding. Each entrance we made was grand--we definitely felt as though we were the main characters of a large production. Our first dance was fundamentally a waltz, with your occasional dips and a lift, all which were met by cheers and applause. While we enjoyed the company of our loved ones throughout the reception, we also took the opportunity to sneak away several times to simply enjoy each other's company, whether it was while watching the sunset or in an empty theater to catch some fresh air, making our day that much more memorable. At the end of the evening, we were bid farewell by our guests with a sparkler exit as we made our way to our getaway car.
